This prevailing torque nut replaces the factory nut for the KLR650 1996 and later. If you’re tired of bending that washer over the nut and want to change sprockets more easily then this Prevailing Torque Nut is your solution. The Eagle Mfg & Eng Prevailing Torque Nut For Countershaft Sprocket uses a 30mm socket although 1 3/16″ will also work.
