GIVI Top Case Rack | Suzuki DL650 V-Strom, DL1000

Description

Installs quickly using simple hand tools. Mounts standard Givi Monokey topcases (ie E45 Elegant E460 Delux E52 Maxia) or the flat stable surface can be used as a solid toprack when the topcase is not needed.

E528 can be used on a DL1000 V-Strom with Givi PL528 sideracks or SW-MOTECH Quick-Lock sideracks (KFT.05.158.200).

E528 can be used on a DL650 V-Strom with Givi PL532 sideracks or SW-MOTECH Quick-Lock sideracks (KFT.05.294.200).

Note for users of Givi brakelight kits
When using Givi brakelight kits with the E528 topplate the following wiring connections should be made for 2002 DL1000:

Givi light kit blue (+) :: DL1000 brake light hot wire – white w/ black stripe (+)
Givi light kit black (-) :: DL1000 brake light ground wire – gray (-)
The third wire on the brakelights black with white stripe (+) is a running light and should not be used.

We do not know the exact year the DL wires changed colors.

The 2008 DL1000 uses:
Givi light kit blue (+) :: White w/black stripe (+) Brake Light
Givi light kit black (-) :: Black w/white strip (-)
The third wire on the brakelights gray (+) is a running light and should not be used.

Givi E-series topcase racks are for use with Givi Monokey topcases ONLY and are NOT compatible with Givi Monolock topcases.

If you would like to mount a Givi Monolock topcase order the SW-Motech Alu-rack with the Monolock adapter plate.
