SW-MOTECH Centerstand BMW K1200S, K1200R, & K1200R Sport

Description

All components are protected against corrosion by sandblasting and powdercoating. High-strength frame mounting points. Black.

Installation of any centerstand on the K1200S requires minor cutting of the lower fairing along cut-lines provided by BMW. See the photos at the bottom of this page showing the cutting template provided by SW-MOTECH and proper look of the final cut line.

Some customers have been confused regarding the necessary position of the included spacer (part No. 13). We’ve provided a photo on this page showing the WRONG position of the spacer (between mounting bracket No. 3 and the centerstand). The spacer’s correct position is between the motorcycle’s frame and mounting bracket No. 3. Please call if you have questions regarding placement of this spacer; the centerstand cannot be installed if the centerstand is in the wrong location.

Special Note: We do not recommend installing centerstands on bikes with a lowered rear suspension because use on a lowered bike may result in:

• Ground clearance & cornering clearance problems
• Difficulty in lifting the lowered bike onto the centerstand
